Welcome to all our whanau of Nga Mahuri. Just to let you know that this web blog will be a way in which I will communicate with all our parents, kaitiaki, grandparents.
I have wanted to set this up for quite a while, and was wanting to take our tamariki through the steps of how to create it (similar to Bebo set up) but we haven't really had the time to do so.
Over the next 2-3 weeks, we will begin to lift stories, pakituhi, whakaahua, movie footage of what we are doing in our class - and I will be choosing around 8 students to continue not only the web blog, but create web blogs for the rest of our kura teina.
I will be sending out consent forms on Monday, requiring all parents to agree with photos of your tamariki being on line.
I will also be applying for funding from a group called UNISYS who support children and ICT Innovation. In my opinion, this is an innovative device on how we as a kura, can report to all our whanau - not only regionally, but on a national and even an international level!
Problem 1 - I have not been able to sort out how to put tohuto on our kupu! - I will leave that to our tamariki to do some Inquiry Based Research and let Papa know how to macron our kupu.
We will also endeavour to upload photo shots of the Kids Tri in Whangarei -
Naku noa
